Hi,
So its been a while since I made a blog post, but now that I'm finished with re-decorating and some new baby knitting and the big difficult jigsaw that took up the whole table, I can finally get on with my next project!
This project has been inspired by our plans to go to a Wales vs Fiji rugby match in October, so I am trying to make a dragon hat to wear on the day of the game.
To begin with I did some research on Pinterest just looking at different dragons and their styles and looks. Click the button below to visit my Pinterest dragon board.

And then tonight I started the build. I started with the easiest bit, the tail.
As you can see the dragon body is an ice cream tub, and the tail is made from curtain wire, cardboard, marionette thread, a bit of foam for the pointy tail end and hot glue to stick it all together. Click on the button below to see a video of the tail in action.
That's all for tonight, I'll do a bit more blogging on the build of the dragon hat as I go along.
Cheerio for now!
